Finocket builds the four core financial statements straight from your books — trial balance, profit & loss, balance sheet and cash flow. Every invoice, payment and expense posts behind the scenes, so the statements are always current the moment you or your CA open them.

The four statements
- Trial Balance — every ledger with its debit or credit balance for the period, totalling to zero. A Balanced badge confirms it, and you can drill down into any ledger to the postings behind it. The starting point your CA reconciles from.
- Profit & Loss — income less expenses over the period: what the business actually earned. The format Indian small businesses and their CAs expect, with inventory folded in when you track stock (see Closing stock & COGS).
- Balance Sheet — what you own and owe as at a chosen date. It's cumulative: every posting up to that date is included.
- Cash Flow (books) — where cash actually moved over the period, built on the direct method: receipts and payments by source, not accrual adjustments.
Accountant-mode users see Tally-style labels on the same screens, so a CA feels at home instantly.
Pick the period
Each statement has a period control — a month, a quarter or a financial year. The balance sheet asks for a single "as-at" date instead, since it's a snapshot. Change the period and the numbers recompute from your postings.
Hand statements to your CA
Your CA can read every statement live with a read-only invite, or you can bundle a date range into the Hand-to-CA export — which also carries the one-tap Tally XML of masters and vouchers. Every change to an invoice, payment or expense is captured in a permanent, append-only audit log, so the statements always trace back to who recorded what.
Access & control
Owners and assistants see everything; an invited accountant reads all four statements, the drill-downs and the audit log read-only. The statements live under Reports — no extra module needed beyond your core books.
